Noo Cheng Adam Road Big Prawn Mee is quite a hit with the patrons of Adam Road Food Centre. Ok lor, so many people eat this, cannot go too wrong right.

We ordered smallest portion Pork Ribs Big Prawn Noodles ($5) & Pork Slices Big Prawn Noodles ($4). Suggestion: try mixing 2 different noodles together for a more textured bite & ask the auntie for more broth.

They have different prawn treatment for their Pork Ribs & Pork Slice options. The prawns for the Pork Ribs Noodles were kept intact while the prawns for the Sliced Pork Noodles were neatly cut into half for convenience.

My personal take is that the portion is relatively small for $4. The prawns are not really big as what the name suggested and perhaps not as fresh as I would like them to be. But the broth is definitely tasty and the good part is you can go back & request for a refill anytime.

By far my fav store in Adam Rd Food Centre! Living near Adam Rd, I satisy my prawn noodle here once a week, varying from the soup or dry version.

Rich heady pork and prawn broth coupled with thick bee hoon noodles topped with pork slices/ribs and fresh prawns (body de-shelled) makes this simple Singaporean staple a knock-out!I always ask for extra thinly sliced pork skin to go with mine. U can even choose to have a whole fishcake to go with it (if its not sold out by then).

The dry version, I must say is equally yummy with a fragrant and rich sauce laced with spices.

If u order it for take away, they pack the noodles and soup seperately so the noodle doesnt turn soggy by the time u get home. How thoughtful for a stall that consistenly have a long Q.

For a more decadent offering, choose to have their whole cold crab with roe in rich broth. I must say, it's a rather Teow Chew offering which I love to induldge in once in a blue moon! Well, I have to watch my cholestrol at some point. ;)
